You Are Not Cold. You Are Finally Boundaried.

They will say you have changed. That you have grown distant, less available. That something in you has shifted.

And they are right, something has.

You no longer say yes to prove that you are good.

You no longer explain your no.

You no longer flinch when someone pulls away.

And you have stopped setting yourself on fire just to keep others warm.

That is not cold. That is clarity. That is self-respect.

It is knowing the difference between connection and obligation. Between being liked, tolerated, even, and being loved for who you truly are.

It is choosing your peace over people-pleasing.

It is understanding that not every cry for attention deserves your response — and not every invitation is a path to intimacy.

Boundaries are not walls.

They are gates.

And now, not everyone has a key.

Entry is by selection — private, purposeful, providential.

So let them call you cold.Let them say you have changed.

Because, in truth, you have.

You no longer shrink to fit into narrow places you have outgrown.

You no longer wear masks just to feel like you belong.

You no longer dim your light or mute your energy to comfort someone else’s version of you.

You are not cold. You are sacred. And sacred things are no longer left wide open.
